COMPUTER is a MACHINE that manipulates DATA according to a list of  INSTRUCTION. To accomplish a task using a computer, need a combination of hardware, software .

 HARDWARE:

Computer hardware is the physical part of a COMPUTER  including its DIGITAL CIRCUITRY , as distinguished from the COMPUTER SOFTWARE  that executes within the hardware. The hardware of a computer is infrequently changed, in comparison with software and hardware data, which are "soft" in the sense that they are readily created, modified or erased on the computer  .HARDWARE  consists of devices, like the computer itself, the MONITOR,KEYBOARD , PRINTER ,MOUSE and SPEAKERS . Inside your computer there are more bits of hardware, including the motherboard, where you would find the main processing CHIPS that make up the central processing unit (CPU). The hardware processes the commands it receives from the software, and performs tasks or calculations.

SOFTWARE:

Computer software is a general term used to describe a collection of COMPUTER PROGRAMS , PROCEDURES and documentation that perform some tasks on a computer system.SOFTWARE  is the name given to the programs that install on the computer to perform certain types of activities .
